Plaits/Braids are what’s hot for fashion hair this Summer! Create an angelic halo effect with wrap-around crown braid.  A crown braid turned into an updo really stood out at a red carpet awards show this Spring and is a-buzz. It can be worn casually or for an elegant look.

  • Urban Glam – Add a side braid to glamorous waves for the perfect mix of edgy and elegant. This look is the perfect new trend to try during any season on medium-to-long-length hair.

  • Updo Braid Knots – Brush into a low ponytail, braid, and wrap the brain into a knot at the nape of the neck for a perfect casual or glam look.
  • Mini-plaits woven throughout long hair is trending as a hip throw-back look.

Babylights Lighten up with this new hair color trend – tiny highlights that mimic your childhood hair color when it was lightened up by the sun! Babylights are the perfect look for any hair color and skin tone and is the perfect technique for those seeking a little less maintenance when it comes to your hair color.

Flat Iron Waves Running short on time? Use your flat iron to get loose waves for medium-length hair or long-length hair.

Beachy Waves – If you watched last season’s The Bachelor, you saw that nearly every contestant sported beachy waves and an ombre or balayage. Create waves with a soft, tousled finish that will give hair volume and body. This “Surfer Chic” look with lots of texture and waves is still very popular!

Short hair is being taken to the extreme, with the bold buzzcut and pixie cuts being the style of the season. Bleached blonde buzzcuts with matching bleached eyebrows were the rage on the runways.

Pastel hues - Summery shades such as silvery lilacs, pastel pink, rose gold, and aqua are still trending as overall color or highlights or ombres.

The Pun made its entrance this spring. This ponytail/bun hybrid appeared at several fashion shows.

Wet-Look hair is a high fashion, trendy style that is an amazing way to show off sexy makeup and a great bone structure.

Fringes overall are in style, shaggy and long, or choppy and short. Fringe bangs are a rage.
